Tara's Pick for MDSM#91!

A big thank you to those who played along with challenge #91. It was great to see how you all incorporated numbers into your project! As always, selecting a winner is a difficult task... so let's check out the MDS Monday Master for this week!

I love Sharon's fun and festive New Year's page! Great idea for a page to incorporate a number! The background paper she chose just makes me want to celebrate and the photos are fabulous. Great job, Sharon! ~Tara

Be sure to check back tomorrow for a brand new challenge!

MDSM91 ... It's all about the Numbers!

Hi everyone, Tara here this week as your hostess and I have a simple sketch with a bit of a twist. We would love for you to incorporate a number into your project - a countdown, an age, special event... the possibilities are endless, have fun!

Thanksgiving in the US is next week and we know everyone gets a little busy starting this time of the year so this week's challenge will run for 2 weeks and will end on Saturday Nov. 29th @ 12pm EST.

Challenge Guidelines:
  • Please create a new MDS project for the current challenge.
  • Provide a link back to MDS Monday or use the Challenge Graphic above within your post.
  • Link directly to your Post for this challenge, not your entire blog. (So we can find your project)
  • You can create a Card, Scrap Page or 3-D Object with the Sketch.
  • The Challenge will end on Saturday November 29th @ 12pm EST.
  • Have fun!

Thank you all so much for playing along with my sketch!  I loved seeing everyone's pages.  And a special thanks to Vikki who made not one, but TWO pages with this layout.  Here are this weeks picks

Diane Malcor

What a pretty page!  Those gorgeous photos really look great against the dark background and the sweet flowers made the perfect "clusters"!  Way to go Diane!

Sharon Maranich

I love fall, it is my favorite season.  Sharon's page really highlights the colors of fall and it's beauty.  I love the choice of the oak leaves for her corner clusters.  Beautiful page Sharon!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for our new challenge!

MDSM90.. Let's create Clusters

Hi everyone!  Beth here with this weeks challenge.  Today I would like you to play with clusters.  You can use a cluster of embellishments, punches or stamps!  Add a large cluster to the top left and a smaller cluster on the bottom right.  You can use the all the boxes for photos or just use a few for photos and fill the rest with papers or journaling, it's up to you.  I hope that you have fun with this layout.

  • The Challenge will end on Saturday November 15th @ 12pm EST.
  • Have fun!

Anita's Picks for MDSM#89!

Thank you all so much for playing along with my first sketch!  I loved seeing everyone's gorgeous layouts and their take on my sketch!  Ya'll make it so hard to choose, but choose I must!  So, without further delay, here are my picks for this week's challenge!

Cori Kozak
Creative Chat

What a fun page!  The colours of the DSP Cori chose were absolutely perfect for this layout!  I love the way she recoloured the sequins so they look silver!  And I'm a sucker for adorable pics of baby cheeks!  Congratulations Cori!

Diane Malcor
My Diane Designs

Diane's page is so calming and serene!  Her choice of colours, the splatter resembling water droplets, and the background DSP that looks like real sand really stood out to me!  Thanks for a fabulous page Diane!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for our new challenge!
